ISU (Independent Salumi Union) is a company founded in 2018 by Helmuth Senfter, an Italian entrepreneur whose family has been in the cured meat business for over 160 years. The consortium brings together independent producers of high-quality Italian cured meats.
ISU has a production facility in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, China, where it produces Italian and European cured meats (Prosciutto Crudo, Salami, Prosciutto Cotto) following the Italian artisanal tradition and the highest food safety standards. Production capacity is 4,500 tons per year.
CECITC partners with ISU for the distribution of its associated producers' cured meats in the Chinese market.
